In my opinion, one of the best bands ever would have to be AC/DC because they've got alot of good songs, music videos, 2 good singers Bon Scott who choked on his vomit in the back of a car in 1980 and passed away, and Brian Johnson who is still with the band till this day.
Another reason they are great is because they got like over 15 albums, with another one in progress, and they got one of the best guitar players ever Angus Young. My favorite song from them would have to be Thunderstruck with Hells Bells, Nervous Shakedown, Baby Please Don't Go, Touch Too Much, and The Razor's Edge tied for 2nd. The various band members they've had and have. Great guitar players, singers, and drummers.

The current band members are: Angus Young, his brother Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd. The former members of the band are: Bon Scott, Simon Wright, Chris Slade, Mark Evans, and Dave Evans. These are just some of the reasons why I think AC/DC is one of the best bands ever.
My brother has a replica of Angus Young's guitar as well.

Really good info on AC/DC...hey are a band from back in my day! Yah i am an old fart..I like m too though...Keep up the good blog...maybe tell us a little about you in the next one..
Dood, HWn I was 11, we (my brother and I) bought Back in Black, and followed AC/DC both forward for the next 20 years or so, and backwards through all the Bon Scott years. With the possible exception of one or two of their latest albums (I really prefer the Bon Scott years anyway) I've got everything they've ever recorded. TONS of excellent tuneage there allright, considering that they actually started about the time I was in Grade 1 or 2.
My favourite song of theirs would have to be "Carry Me Home" with Bon at the mic. Spooky really... Bon was a huge drunk, and it was his drinking that killed him as you mentioned. The scary thing is that in that song, it's all about him being dangerously impaired (as usual) including one part that goes:
"You drank all your booze and half of mine,
I'm bleary-eyed and your waiting for the sun-shine to come and kill me,
Just like the man who pulled me off the floor,
Look around while I'm down here might as well try to find the F****in' door.

Carry Me Home isn't this an unreleased song or somethin like that?
