My ELA 30S Class: What we've done so far this semester

In my ELA 30S class so far since September we've worked on two subjects, one being Science Fiction (Sci-Fi), and the other being Othello. I didn't really like the whole Sci-Fi part of the class because of the many different weird stories we had to read. My favorite one out of all of the stories to read would have to be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I liked the book but hated the questions beacuse there was too many of them. My most favorite subject in ELA so far this year is Othello. It's a really good, tragic story of these two Venetian lovers named Othello, and Desdemona, who get tricked by a devious man named Iago. Iago also tricks a few of the other characters in the play as well. Their names are: Cassio, Roderigo, Emilia, and others but I can't remember the names. Iago who is jealous of Cassio plans to ruin him, Iago uses Roderigo as his own servant type of thing, Emilia who is Iago's wife doesn't know what's going on but she wants to please her husband. I will write more on another day.

Why would anybody want to hack their way into someone else's network?

Why would anybody want to hack their way into someone else's network?

People would want to hack into someone else's network for nothing, just so they can get that person mad, or just to ruin their computer. They can hack into a network for the storage space/disk space, so they can save files and other things. They can also hack into a network for passwords for e-mails, bebo's, etc. To look up where that person lives, and track them down. Infect your computer with spam, and viruses. They can hack a network for the free Word Processor's, Games, Music, etc. But the thing that they mostly want I think is the disk space, so they can be able to save alot of things.

Internet Tracking Right or Wrong? My thinking

Should anyone be able to have the right to someone else's computer/personal information?

For Example:
Should anyone be able to what web browser I use?
What operating system I use?
Who is my ISP?
Where I live (the city and country at least)?
How often you visit someone's website?
Does anyone have the right to collect this information?

For all of them it is right and wrong because if the info is being used for a good reason like just seeing how many people go to your blog, comment on it and to just check it out it's all good but if someone uses the info to track someone down for like revenge or just to be an a**hole, and ruin someone's blog, computer, etc it's bad.

About Myself

I'm a Grade 12 student, I go to school in a small community. Not graduating till next year. I'm 17 years old, and will be turning 18 in January. Some of my favorite things to do are watch movies, tv, play games, sleep, etc. Some of my favorite movies are Cheech & Chong movies, Rocky's I - V & Rocky Balboa, pretty much any comedy, action, and horror movies. Some of my favorite music artists are AC/DC of course, Def Leppard, Kiss, Motorhead, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Motley Crue, Skid Row, and ZZtop. I like to watch hockey, and UFC, I don't have a favorite hockey player, but my favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs. My favorite fighter in the UFC is Forrest Griffin.

One of the Best Bands Ever!! AC/DC

In my opinion, one of the best bands ever would have to be AC/DC because they've got alot of good songs, music videos, 2 good singers Bon Scott who choked on his vomit in the back of a car in 1980 and passed away, and Brian Johnson who is still with the band till this day.

Another reason they are great is because they got like over 15 albums, with another one in progress, and they got one of the best guitar players ever Angus Young. My favorite song from them would have to be Thunderstruck with Hells Bells, Nervous Shakedown, Baby Please Don't Go, Touch Too Much, and The Razor's Edge tied for 2nd. The various band members they've had and have. Great guitar players, singers, and drummers.

The current band members are: Angus Young, his brother Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd. The former members of the band are: Bon Scott, Simon Wright, Chris Slade, Mark Evans, and Dave Evans. These are just some of the reasons why I think AC/DC is one of the best bands ever.

My brother has a replica of Angus Young's guitar as well.

What I Did Yesterday

What I did yesterday

I woke up at 7:30, took a shower, ate, went on the computer for 20 min, went to my brother's to visit my nephew and nieces, went to school, did some notes in computer applications & technologies about blogs, had break, read out loud some Othello, did 1 question, went home for lunch, after lunch I went to my brother's again to play some nhl 2k6 on the ps2 till 2:25, then i came to school, and did some notes in my tourism 31g class. After that I went home slept for an hour, then I went on the computer for 2 hours, ate supper, talked to an old friend on the phone, hung out with Greg and Jake, hung out with my brother playing pokerstars on the computers, then we spraypainted my room, he left then I watched my AC/DC family jewels dvd (music videos), I then played hide & go seek with my sister's kids in my basement lol, then I watched Cheech & Chong's Up in Smoke, and then I finally fell asleep.
